LETTERMAN MAGAZINE/AR HOOPS BORDER WAR CLASSIC

Louisiana is home to some of the most talented student-athletes in the nation. This is one of many reasons why the Letterman Magazine Border War Classic selected Wossman High School to host the second annual event.

The Border War Classic will begin promptly at 1:30 P.M at Wossman High School, 1600 Arizona Ave, Monroe, LA 71202 on November 19, 2016. Game 1: Richwood (G) vs. Wossman (G), Game 2:  El Dorado (G) vs. Carroll (G), Game: 3  North Little Rock (B) vs. Richwood (B), Game 4: El Dorado (B) vs. Ouachita (B), Final Game: Hot Springs (B) vs. Wossman (B). Fans are traveling from surrounding areas to be a part of this historic event.

Players to Watch: Daniel Gafford El Dorado (AR), Exavion Christon Hot Springs (AR), Paris Harris (Hot Springs (AR), CJ Jones Wossman (LA), Jay Head Ouachita (LA).

Following the event players/coaches will be available for interviews and photographs. Tickets can be purchased at all participating schools for $10.00. In the spirit of Letterman Magazine’s vision everyone in attendance will truly “Be a Part of Greatness.”

Letterman Magazine primarily focuses on “Academics, Sports, and Character.” The magazine’s commitment to be a platform for high school athletes provides a marketplace that is beneficial for the magazine, each school’s athletic program, and the student-athlete. The magazine spotlights high school sports through in-depth content such as interviews, game analysis, photography, and videography.

Letterman Magazine hosts a number of events designed to promote goodwill, education, employment, and community beautification.
